It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that Emporium Square Artisan Market will be closing its doors on Sunday, January 30th. A huge thank you to everyone who has shown support since we opened our doors in August 2020 and much love to all of the merchants that have stayed with us through the ups and downs. It’s been a pleasure to serve our community.
We had hoped that Emporium Square would one day be an Orange County Destination that would last well beyond our vision. From the day we opened our doors in the middle of the Pandemic we would always get a kick out of watching people’s reaction when they walked into our doors and saw for the first time our beautiful brick walls and the long aisles adorned with our street lights and street signs, it was truly a great vibe. Although Orlando would say it was never quite finished to his vision, I can honestly say I took a lot of pride in the role I played to make it happen. Emporium Square was short lived but we truly feel we were a success. We set out to open our doors to help support small businesses and we were true to our mission. Many have grown beyond us and some have realized that dreams do come true, it is our hope that they continue to evolve and grow. Although It was hard to shake off the stigma of being identified as a flea market, those who actually walked through our doors recognized that the opposite was quite evident – we were an artisan market featuring local crafters and makers and we are so proud of what we accomplished.
Please continue to follow and support our merchants. The website will remain up so that you can find your favorite merchants and connect with them. Sustaining a small business in this climate is extremely tough so please continue to shop local and support small. We need you now more than ever.
Sending Love and Future success to all Small Businesses in the Hudson Valley
